Artist Statement:
I'm queer and transgender. I wanted to donate to the auction because the work GSAFE does is so important.
2 skeins of hand-spun merino wool yarn, dyed by an indie dyer.

Hand knit shawl made of non-superwash wool. It has a mix of slip stitch and lace panels in 8 colors. Liz notes that they spent about $125 on materials, and spent about 70 hours creating this piece.

These hearts are from the scraps of the badger pillow. Could not let them go to waste! The zipper pull is the funny little fringe that formed when I felted the wool piece.
This shawl is knit in a shadow pattern, where the combination of knit and purl stitches form chevron stripes when the shawl is viewed from an angle.
